HELLO 2022
Many of you out there, especially if you have followed my blog for awhile, have heard
my CTMH story but I often forget that there are many out there who haven't, and whom it may speak to! I began my CTMH journey in 2015 as a happy hobbyist. My local scrapbooking store closed it's doors and I was devastated! I floundered around for awhile finding things here and there, online, in different cities and towns and pieced things together to continue my "paper therapy" and continue being the memory keeper for my family. At a local crop, I was introduced to CTMH by a fellow papercrafter and I borrowed some of the cardstock to use in my cutting machine (A silhouette at the time, and now a Cricut) and I was so impressed with how it cut and the quality that I began purchasing the cardstock regularly. Soon I discovered the "already coordinated" workshop kits WITH full instructions "showing me how". I fell in love with them!! No more shopping here and there trying to coordinate and piece things together! What a dream! Pretty soon I was putting together all of the workshops and loving the connections to other Maker's and papercrafters and my hobby expanded into such a social outlet and I signed up as a Maker to receive the discount. I had no intentions of doing CTMH as a business but was loving the discount--which by the way is 25% (WOW!). One thing led to another and I began using left over scraps from workshops to create "more pages". Soon others at the crops and scrapbooking events wanted to use up their leftovers as well and from there, I began to create my own workshops in addition to the amazing CTMH workshops. I never really did have to "sell" to cross over into the business as CTMH has such amazing, high quality papercrafting supplies, it practicaly sells itself! My goals with CTMH began to change as my business began to naturally grow and now, 5 1/2 years later....we are in the process of building a brand new retreat center so that I may continue both my online classes as well as having in person retreats!
All of the opportunities afforded to me by CTMH have made this possible!!What started out as a hobby--became a dream---and now a reality!
